315. Louis Lawson 'Louie' LEMMONS was born on 25 Feb 1900 in Randolph Co, AR. He died on 30 Apr 1979 in Jonesboro, Craighead Co, AR. He was buried on 2 May 1979 in Randolph Co, AR. MR. LEMMONS - Louie L. Lemmons, 79, prominent farmer of Rt. 1,
Pocahontas passed away in St. Bernard's Regional Med. Center,
Jonesboro, Monday. He was born February 25, 1900 in Randolph County, a
son of the late Riley and Jane Hufstedler Lemmons. A leader in farming
for a half-century in Randolph County, Mrs. Lemmons served for some 40
years as a member of the Randolph County Agriculture Stabilization and
Conservation Committee. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grace Mays
Lemmons of Geriatrics Nursing Home, Jonesboro; a son, Milton Lemmons
of Rt. 1, Pocahontas; a brother Vernon Lemmons of Pocahontas; a
sister, Mrs. Leslie Moore of Reyno. Three grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday in the Pyburn
Street Church of Christ with F. W. Gould officiating. Burial followed
in Randolph Memorial Gardens with McNabb's in charge.

He was married to Selma Grace MAYES on 2 Oct 1921. Selma Grace MAYES was born in 1901. She died in 1979. She was buried in 1979 in Randolph Co, AR. Louis Lawson 'Louie' LEMMONS and Selma Grace MAYES had the following children:
