13. Daniel GEE was born on 5 Apr 1790 in Sawston, Cambridgeshire, England. He died on 13 Mar 1875 in Comberton, Cambridgeshire, England. He was buried in Comberton, Cambridgeshire, England. This is the Last Will and Testament of me DANIEL GEE of Comberton in the county of Cambridgeshire, farmer.
I Give and Bequeath unto my Grand-daughter MARY PEARCE who is now residing with me the legacy or sum of 600, such legacy to be paid within six calendar months next after my said decease and I declare that the said legacy or sum of 600 shall be for her sole and separate use and benefit and that her receipt notwithstanding coverture shall be valid and effectual discharge for the same. I Give and Bequeath unto each of my grandchildren, the children of my late son JEREMIAH and daughters ELIZABETH the late wife of WILLIAM PEARCE and ELIZA the late wife of ROBERT LOOKER deceased (except my said grand-daughter MARY PEARCE) who shall survive me and attain their age of twenty-one years or being a daughter marry, the legacy or sum of 50 and I direct that the legacies of such of my grandchildren as at the time of my decease shall have attained the age of twenty-one years shall be paid to them respectively within six calendar months next after my decease, and that the legacies of such of my grandchildren as shall at the time of my decease be under the age of twenty-one years and unmarried shall be invested by the trustee or trustees for the time being of my Will in the names or name of such trustee or trustees in the public stocks or funds of Great Britain or on ? ?England or Wales with power for my said trustee or trustees for the time being and from time to time vary such investments and the capital or principal of such legacy or respective legacies together with any surplus unapplied for the maintenance or education of such grandchild or grandchildren respectively shall be paid or transferred to such child or children respectively when and as he she or they respectively shall attain the age of twenty-one years or marry and I direct and declare that it shall be lawful for my trustee or trustees for the time being at their or his own discretion during the minority or respective minorities of any of my said children to apply the whole or any part of the principal or capital of the said legacies respectively hereinbefore bequeathed to such grandchild or grandchildren in or towards his or her advancement or preferment in the world or otherwise for the benefit of such grandchild or grandchildren respectively in such manner as my trustee or trustees shall think proper PROVIDED ALWAYS that in case any grandchild of mine should be living after my decease then and in every such case I give and bequeath the legacy herinbefore intended for such grandchild of mine so dying unto such his or her child or children and if more than one in equal shares and proportions and I declare that the provisions and declarations contained as to the time of payment of the legacies hereinbefore given to my grandchildren and as to the investment thereof in the meantime and as to advancements out of the same legacies shall apply and expend to such child or children of my grandchild or grandchildren as aforesaid and the legacies hereby given to him or her or them and I direct that as to the legacies shall apply and expend
