farmer of Noland, died in a Newport hospital Thursday. He was born
March 6, 1890, a son of Emma Leathers Hufstedler and the late James
Hufstedler and had made his home in Randolph county all of his life.
Funeral services were conducted at the Noland Church of Christ at 2
o'clock Saturday afternoon by Bro. Cecil Wilson. Interment was in the
Hufstedler cemetery under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home. He is
survived by his wife, Mrs. Maude Bates Hufstedler of the home; two
sons, Glen and Dale Hufstedler of Noland; two daughters, Mrs. Maxin
Abbott of Noland and Mrs. Billie Smith of the Dalton Route; six
grandchildren, his mother, Mrs. Emma Hufstedler of Noland; a sister,
Mrs. Sadie Nicholson of Swifton.

child+261 iii. William McKinley 'Mack' HUFSTEDLER was born on 4 Feb 1900 in Noland, Randolph Co, AR. He died on 4 Jul 1957 in Pocahontas, Randolph Co, AR. He was buried on 6 Jul 1957 in Pocahontas, Randolph Co, AR. W. M. HUFSTEDLER - William McKinley Hufstedler, aged 57, well known
merchant and postmaster at Noland, died in Randolph County Hospital
Thursday following a long illness. He was born near Pocahontas Feb. 4,
1900, a son of Mrs. Emma Hufstedler and the late Jimmy Hufstedler.
Familiarly known to his relatives and friends as "Mack" he had been in
business at Noland for about 27 years. Funeral services were conducted
at the Noland Church of Christ at 10:30 Saturday morning by Bro. E. W.
Stovall. Interment was in Masonic cemetery in Pocahontas under the
direction of McNabb Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Henry Anderson,
Noah Lemmons, Muriel Kellett, Lowell Rose, Leon Tiner and J. V.
Starling. Mr. Hufstedler is survived by his mother; his wife, Mrs.
Agnes Hufstedler; a daughter, Mrs. Kay Ragan of Stillwater, Okla.; a
brother, Emmitt Hufstedler of Noland; a half-sister, Mrs. Sadie
Nickolson of Swifton.
